Swimming fun
Over the past few weeks He Puna Whāwhā have been enjoying going swimming in the school pool. The children will be swimming four times a week, each week until the end of the term. We love the use of the pool and are all growing more confident each day in the water.

Museum & Life Education
Over the past few weeks the junior syndicate we have been busy visiting the Museum and the Life Education Classroom.
At the Museum we investigated how kahu kounga cloaks were made and what materials were used. A kahu kounga is a cloak of excellence. The children were able to focus on goals, aspirations and values they wanted to achieve this term at school. It was a great experience and we look forward to co-creating a class cloak of our own.
In the Life Education Classroom we got to find out about which foods are important to eat to in order to help us learn and have lots of energy. We loved hanging out with Harold.
